About me

I have 3 lively young boys who keep me busy and a spaniel called Bonnie.  I enjoy walking in the countryside, keeping active, yoga, swimming and reading.

I have worked as an SEN Teaching Assistant for 5 years.  I have experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, selective mutism, PDA and other physical, behavioural and learning difficulties.  I volunteered for VRH (Volunteer Reading Help) for 2 years and have completed a Certificate in Counselling Skills course, An Introduction to Mindfulness course (Lucy Lucas) and completed the Hoffman Process in 2017 (a personal development retreat).

My approach

I believe every child can be the best that they can be.  All behaviour serves a purpose and is driven by a root emotion.   Through NLP techniques and other practices, we are able to identify the root emotion behind the behaviour.  The sessions are playful, fun and relaxed.  I offer a free 30 minute session to meet the client and discuss how I work and any queries or questions you may have.

I also offer "Walk & Talk" sessions outside in nature if this is more appealing to the child.
